Gradient sock sets are back! A set of two identical cakes of 50g merino & nylon (75/25) 4ply sock yarn cakes ready to cast on. Hand dyed so that colours will shift as you knit. Choose from 2 different Colour options, both colour options have their own choice of which colour you would like to begin knitting from (sets A/B and C/D are actually the same colourway but they’ve been caked in the opposite direction). Why are they caked? Well I decided I wanted to make it easier for you to use a gradient from us so I’ve already reskeined and taken out as much of the kinks from the sock blank as possible before winding them into different cake options making the yarn easier to work with.
Ready to Ship!
You will receive 2 x 50g cakes of yarn that measures 400m approx. I recommend the use of a skein winder, unwinding your skein without the proper amount of tension can result in tangles. I have a separate listing with winding service options available if you prefer to receive a cake or ball.
Wash by hand in cool to cold water with a wool friendly soap, occasionally dye can leach from highly saturated hand dyed yarns under certain conditions, I would recommend avoiding knitting those alongside undyed/white yarn or maybe choose a less saturated hand dyed yarn instead.
If you purchase a ready to ship skein with a pre-order skein all items will be sent together on the date set for the pre-order to be shipped.

The Blue-faced Leicester yarns are British. The fibres are then scoured and Superwash Treated in the UK to the highest environmental standards possible.
Our Merino yarns do not come from farms practicing mulesing. Hand washing recommended.
