Yarn Care

We recommend washing hand dyed yarn by hand in cool water with a wool friendly soap, occasionally dye can leach from highly saturated hand dyed yarns under certain conditions, I recommend avoiding knitting those alongside undyed/white yarn or alternatively choose a less saturated hand dyed yarn instead.

We also recommend knitting a swatch of the yarns you intend on using in your project together/next to each other, as they would be in the garment, soaking & washing them to test if the yarns are compatible in terms of the colour as well as the gauge/tension.
