Notes from the Mines Sock Sets 100g + 20g

Notes from the Mines is a selection of OOAK sock sets inspired by our adventures into the Stardew Valley mines. A bit grungy in hue they all bear names relating to the struggles of surviving the dimly lit caverns of the mines, (each sock set has a number on the photo above which corresponds to the colourway names) all sock sets in this collection are Superwash Merino with nylon:

The sock set is a 100g skein with a 20g mini skein plus an extra 20g mini skein to make mix & match heels and toes!

Ready to ship the yarn base for all sets are: Merino Sock: 1 x 100g fingering skein 75% SW Merino with 25% nylon 425m. With 1 x 20g/80m mini skein (also merino sock)

I recommend the use of a skein winder, unwinding your skein without the proper amount of tension can result in tangles. I have a separate listing with winding service options available if you prefer to receive a cake or ball. 

Wash by hand in cool to cold water with a wool friendly soap, occasionally dye can leach from highly saturated hand dyed yarns under certain conditions, I would recommend avoiding knitting those alongside undyed/white yarn or maybe choose a less saturated hand dyed yarn instead.

The Blue-faced Leicester yarns are British. The fibres are then scoured and Superwash Treated in the UK to the highest environmental standards possible.

Our Merino yarns do not come from farms practicing mulesing. Hand washing recommended.
