Stripes For All: Garden Path Self Striping Sock Yarn 100g/400M

*Skeins at £10 are limited to one per customer per colourway; so you can add another £10 skein to your order as long as it’s not the same colourway.

Garden Path is an early autumn tidy of fallen leaves and the final clippings of the summer season. A self striping sock yarn that features a 4 stripe repeat.

The colours will stripe as you knit!

Stripes For All is a new product with inclusivity at its heart. Every batch I create I split 50/50 over two price points, one set at my regular £20 per skein the other is £10 per skein, the yarns are exactly the same. The lower price point is reserved for knitters who usually struggle to add hand dyed self striping yarn to their monthly budget which I wanted to personally address especially as we’re facing economic hurdles at this point in time too. I’m able to do this only because of the support I’ve been given by the knitting community through the sales of my regular priced yarn so really it’s a pay-it-forward scheme that involves everyone. I’m happy for you to buy 2 skeins at £10 to make the most of postage costs but they must be different colours and please skip the next update (one per month) to give someone else a chance to buy.

Choose from one of the following yarn bases;

  • SW Merino with 25% nylon
  • SW Merino Sparkle with 25% nylon

Ready to ship: You will receive a 100g skein of yarn that measures 400m approx. I recommend the use of a skein winder, unwinding your skein without the proper amount of tension can result in tangles. I have a separate listing with winding service options available if you prefer to receive a cake or ball.

If you purchase a ready to ship skein with a pre-order skein all items will be sent together on the date set for the pre-order to be shipped.

The Blue-faced Leicester yarns are British. The fibres are then scoured and Superwash Treated in the UK to the highest environmental standards possible.

Our Merino yarns do not come from farms practicing mulesing. Our Merino is mulesing free.

I use a professional wool dye system to prevent colours from running or fading. Please use a wool specific soap and shape to dry.

Due to monitor differences actual colours may vary slightly from how they appear online. P&P is tracked from the U.K.
