Archer Project Fundraiser Sock Yarn
Knitting and donating to charity at the same time is a win-win situation! Help raise money for the Sheffield Archer Project where rough sleepers can get a hot meal every day or find long term support with housing and finance needs. 100% of the profits will go to the charity and I’ve added extra add-on options to help us raise as much as possible too by choosing to round up your purchase if you’re able to £30, £40 or even matching the yarn price with your own donation. The yarn itself is self striping so the colours will change as you knit and they feature the Archer Projects own logo colours.
The yarn is split over 2 x 50g matching skeins, perfect for making the most out of your self striping yarn for knitting identical socks or knitting socks two at a time, just remember to start at the matching end. I used a separate red mini skein to knit the toe in the photo.
- 2 x 50g: 75/25 Merino & nylon 4ply sock yarn
- 2 x 50g: 75/20/5 SW Merino with nylon & stellina sparkle.
This batch has been dyed over 2 x 50g skeins That are identical. This is perfect for two at a time sock knitting or similar.
You will receive 2 x 50g skeins of yarn that measures 200M each approx. I recommend the use of a skein winder, unwinding your skein without the proper amount of tension can result in tangles. I have a separate listing with winding service options available if you prefer to receive a cake or ball.
If you purchase a ready to ship skein with a pre-order skein all items will be sent together on the date set for the pre-order to be shipped.
The Blue-faced Leicester yarns are British. The fibres are then scoured and Superwash Treated in the UK to the highest environmental standards possible.
Our Merino yarns do not come from farms practicing mulesing. Our Merino is mulesing free.
I use a professional wool dye system to prevent colours from running or fading. Please use a wool specific soap and shape to dry.
Due to monitor differences actual colours may vary slightly from how they appear online. P&P is tracked from the U.K.
