Woodland Explorer Tweedy 100g + 20g set

Woodland Explorer sock set is a brand new self striping palette of 6 stripes hand dyed on our favourite tweedy sock yarn. Featuring warm and mellow natural hues this repeating palette is perfect for your hiking boots as well as cosy toes on the daily adventures. This yarn is not only soft and cosy but with 15% nylon it’s great for knitting socks too. Colours will change as you knit, the sock set comprises of the 100g skein of stripes plus a 20g mini skein. Ready to ship.

• Fingering Tweed Sock: 1 x 100g skein 75% SW merino 15% nylon 10% nep

• Fingering Tweed Mini: 20g of the above dyed lavender.

 Winding services:

We now offer a winding services so your yarn will arrive ready to cast on! The list price is for the winding of 1 skein/set of yarn if you are buying multiple skeins and want them all winding you will need to enter the correct number of winding services for your requirements. 
example: you have 3 sock sets in your cart and would like to have them all delivered as yarn cakes -  you will need to enter the yarn cake winding service 3 times into your shopping cart too. (I will include the winding of the mini skein also in the price). If you only enter it once I will only wind one skein/set, if this is the case please leave me a message to confirm which skein/set you want winding in your order.

 I recommend the use of a skein winder, unwinding your skein without the proper amount of tension can result in tangles. I have a separate listing with winding service options available if you prefer to receive a cake or ball. 

I recommend washing by hand in cool to cold water with a wool friendly soap.

If you purchase a ready to ship skein with a pre-order skein all items will be sent together on the date set for the pre-order to be shipped.

The Blue-faced Leicester yarns are British. The fibres are then scoured and Superwash Treated in the UK to the highest environmental standards possible.

Our Merino yarns do not come from farms practicing mulesing. Hand washing recommended.
