Peppermint Elf has been working in the candy cane room all year, and if you were to see her during the month of December she always wears odd socks. Some think the peppermint fumes have gone to her head, but whatever the reason she still rocks those socks no matter if they match or not!

All yarn, including mini skein, is sparkle merino with 25% nylon.

You can choose to knit two pairs of socks and wear them matching or odd or you could just knit one pair of extra long elf stockings for yourself that are mid-matched. The two pairs of socks in the photo is the entire yarn knitted up (with upgraded 50g matching red). In the default set of hand dyed Christmas yarns you will receive 1 x 50g skein of red/white stripe yarn and 1 x 50g of green/red stripe yarn and you will receive a 20g matching red mini skein which is plenty for heels, toes and ribs on ONE pair of socks, however if you wish to knit TWO pairs like in my photos you will need more of the matching red yarn, you can choose to add (add both items in the drop down box into your cart not just the £4 upgrade) an upgrade from the 20g mini to a 50g skein (50g red dyed to order so expect 1 week extra processing time). The stripe repeat happens 25 times per 50g tube.

The colours will stripe as you knit!

Ready to ship unless you request the upgrade to 50g solid red skein. I recommend the use of a skein winder, unwinding your skein without the proper amount of tension can result in tangles. I have a separate listing with winding service options available if you prefer to receive a cake or ball.

If you purchase a ready to ship skein with a pre-order skein all items will be sent together on the date set for the pre-order to be shipped.

The Blue-faced Leicester yarns are British. The fibres are then scoured and Superwash Treated in the UK to the highest environmental standards possible.

Our Merino yarns do not come from farms practicing mulesing. Our Merino is mulesing free.

I use a professional wool dye system to prevent colours from running or fading. Please use a wool specific soap and shape to dry.

Due to monitor differences actual colours may vary slightly from how they appear online. P&P is tracked from the U.K.
